REALTORS FCU Exhibits at NAR's Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo

The REALTORS� Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo is where NAR members take an active role in advancing the real estate industry, public policy, and the association. REALTORS� FCU will be in booth #1701 (NAR Pavilion) ready to answer questions about YOUR credit union. Attention RVPs: President and CEO Tom Glatt will be speaking on Wednesday, May 12 at the Regional Vice President's Meeting and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the credit union's new Partner Program. You can also hear Mike Brodie, Chairman of REALTORS� FCU give an update on the credit union at NAR's Executive Committee meeting on Thursday, May 13 as well as at NAR's Board of Directors meeting on Saturday, May 15.

REALTORS Federal Credit Union Celebrates One Year

Saturday, May 1 will mark REALTORS� Federal Credit Union's one year anniversary. The first (and still only) virtual credit union was able to fulfill its mission to guide its members to securing financial independence. Total membership grew to over 3,900 and assets exceeded $38.7 million at the close of 2009. Through the cooperative resources of our membership, REALTORS� FCU helped its members in difficult economic times by delivering more than 870 loans and providing more than $23.2 million in affordable financing to its members who trust them with over $28 million in deposits.

REALTORS Federal Credit Union Celebrates Earth Day

In honor of its members on Earth Day, REALTORS� Federal Credit Union planted a tree in a National Forest. REALTORS� FCU is the first-ever totally virtual credit union with a business model that offers tangible benefits for its members and Mother Earth. REALTORS� FCU membership supports a healthier environment by reducing paper and reducing our carbon footprint, because members are served without brick and mortar branches.
